Nancy Haar,
General Partner, joined Endeavor in December 1991 and co-manages the
firm’s portfolio of investments.
Ms. Haar was previously an Associate at MH Capital Partners, (MHCP),
the venture capital and leveraged buyout investment subsidiary of
Manufacturers Hanover (now JP Morgan Capital Partners). At
MHCP, Ms. Haar was one of nine investment professionals responsible for
managing a $450 million portfolio as well as for originating,
structuring and negotiating new transactions.
From 1986-1988, Ms. Haar was affiliated with Rain Hill Group, Inc.,
where she evaluated strategic business opportunities on behalf of
corporate clients that included British Petroleum, Mitsubishi, Alcan,
3M and Colgate Palmolive. As a client manager, Ms. Haar
worked with corporate executives to set the strategic and technology
objectives of various operating groups as well as initiated and
maintained relationships with the venture capital community to identify
portfolio companies seeking strategic investment or joint venture
partnerships that would be of interest to Rain Hill's
clients.
Ms. Haar was previously an account executive at Edelman Worldwide where
she handled marketing public relations for consumer food and packaged
good clients including Ore-Ida Foods, Beech-Nut Nutrition, Kimberly
Clark and Kraft Foods.
Ms. Haar received an MBA from New York University and a BS from
Northwestern University.
